Granite stone

Granite stone

Granite stone is one of the most well-known applied stones in the construction industry and is the result of deformation of volcanic molten materials in two categories of intrusive igneous rocks and extrusive igneous rocks. Granite rocks from intrusive igneous rocks have higher compression and high ability of sanding and often have bright colors. Granite rocks are very resistant to impact, corrosion, frost, permeability and extreme heat. The distinctive features of this stone are high hardness and great variety of colors such as white, peach, orange, grey, and black. Different processing of granite stone is performed according to their type of application in environments as stone-pavement, staircase stone, interior and exterior building stones, parking lots of residential centers, floor projects of commercial centers or as cabinet stone. Production and processing of various types of granite including Nehbandan, Natanz, Boroujerd, Zahedan, pearl and black Tabas granite is performed in the Chalipa stone industry with the ability of supplying in large sizes and excellent quality. Granite is in the category of intrusive igneous rocks and has a very high degree of hardness and good resistance to abrasion, corrosion and heat. The high strength of this product makes it ideal for use in interior and exterior facade of buildings as well as walls and floors in crowded passages. This product is more expensive than other building stones.

Granite building stone

Granite is also known as adamant. This type of rock is the result of cooling magma (molten material) and in geology is classified as intrusive igneous rocks with medium to large grains. The main minerals that make up this type of rock are: quartz, mica, amphibole and feldspar. The presence of different percentages of minerals and their chemical compounds has created a very wide range of colors in this product. Granite is one of the most durable stones as it has been chosen as a symbol of toughness. Granite has a very high resistance to abrasion and heat and does not scratch easily. Due to the very high strength and hardness of this type of stone, its use in various fields, especially construction, has become popular and has made it possible to be cut it in low thicknesses. The granite building stone has a desirable durability and longevity and is resistant to snow and rain and heat and ultraviolet rays of the sun, and allows it to be used in the interior and exterior facades of buildings. The range of usage of granite is very wide and it can be used as in walls, floor or staircase in the crowded places, because it is resistant to abrasion, impact and climate change. Granite is known as a durable material due to its high hardness. This product is impermeable to water and shows good resistance to shocks. These positive properties have made it ideal for use in large industrial environments. The extraordinary and stunning beauty of this product has made it very popular among all types of building materials. If you polish this type of stone, its beauty is doubled and it cannot be easily ignored. The radiance and reflection of light by this product is amazing and gives a dreamy and special effect to the environment wherever it is used.

Types of building granite

In terms of color and design, granite has different types that are either naturally formed or are the result of human processing and artificial painting. The method of mining this type of stone is by cutting it with a diamond wire or a parallel hole. After minig in large dimensions (coupe), granite is taken out of the mine and transported to stone factories for processing. The main colors of this product are available in white, blue, orange, pink, green, brown, chocolate, black, red, and grey. In terms of other characteristics, all types of building granite have several positive features in common, such as: water impermeability, corrosion resistance, scratches and abrasion resistance, high heat resistance, great variety in color, design and dispersion of crystals which are often large and visible. These types of stones have good performance against climate change and acid rain, as well as in dealing with chemicals, and therefore they are good choices for use in the exterior façade of buildings. Optimal strength, durability and resistance to impact and scratches, as well as high polishing properties of this type of stone, make it ideal for use as kitchen counters, stairs, flooring, sculptures and stone decorations.

Nehbandan granite

Nehbandan granite is one of the natural stones that cannot be processed, and has its main structure. Nehbandan granite is very useful in flooring, walls, stairs, and cabinet due to its high resistance, quality, and efficiency. Types of Nehbandan granite include cream Nehbandan stone, grey Nehbandan stone, and orange Nehbandan stone. Nehbandan granite is usually cut as tile and longitudinal.

Granite stones price

Granite price depends on different factors as the type of mine, method of cutting and polishing, quality degree, coloring, and the size of the stone. Granite has a much higher price comparing other stones for processing, because it is highly strong. Examples of mines of this stone are  Broujerd granite mine,  Birjand daneh anari granite mine, Natanz granite mine, Nehbandan grey cream granite mine, Natanz black granite mine,  Khatam green granite, Jungle granite mine, Taibad peachy granite mine, Khorram dareh golden granite mine, Yazd red granite mine, Zahedan white granite, Natanz  gol panbei granite mine, Maragheh white granite mine, Alamout black granite mine, Mashhad morvarid ( pearl) granite mine, Zanjan peachy granite mine, Zanjan bahareh granite mine, Tuyserkan black granite mine, Nahavandan gol panbei granite mine, and Khorramdarreh chocolate granite mine. Countries like India, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, and Brazil have the tremendous granite mines that have very high quality.
